Do you watch where you're going?

The National Safety Council has designated April as “Distracted Driving Month”. At our board meeting job site visit in Florida recently, Ted Cava from our One Florida team,  presented a great clip that shows how many folks are distracted by cell phone calls, texting, eating or “other” while driving. If you are a passenger in a taxi or someone else is driving, look around and you will be shocked how many are not focused on the task at hand… driving. Remember the vast majority of accidents occur within our field of vision to the front. It is vital that we see what is ahead and even more so now that so many around us are not watching the road! Check out this link, be honest with yourself and those you care about and pledge to keep the phone off when driving. If you must use it, then pull over to a safe location. Let’s do this together!
