Why not start your teach and travel adventure in China, where they are screaming out for ESL teachers. If you are thinking of teaching overseas then China should be on your radar. The market for English as a Second Language teachers is huge. To get ahead in China, you need to speak English and a large number of people over there want to learn English. So you will be in demand. In this book you will find the experience of a lifetime. And also the warnings about silly little things that could happen.

China is a country of contrasts where you could be plowing along at around 350kms/hour on a brand new high speed train. And get picked up at the train station on the back of a 125 cc motorbike. You could be teaching in a fully air-conditioned state of the art classroom with all the latest mod cons and tech, or under a tree in the village square with the whole village watching you. All I can say is 'be amazed' because you will be. You will either love your overseas experience or hate it. But you have to go and travel and teach in China to find out.

Teaching ESL or English as a Second Language is not overly difficult but you have to learn the trade. And in the book you will be given resources you can follow up to perfect your craft. There are links to job sites and what to put in you CV. Teach and travel in China could be the highlight of your overseas experience. But you have to go to China to experience teaching ESL and living in China. Now to teach and travel in China is very easy. Usually when you get a job the school will supply accommodation. That could mean, living in a dorm room at a boarding school, with meals supplied in the dining room. Or a fully furnished flat where you cook your own meals. Either way is good.
