As an avid user of ChatGPT for over a year, I’ve consistently turned to it for various research-related tasks. The application's simple UI and robust UX have provided me with an exceptional experience, prompting me to share my insights with fellow enthusiasts to gather more perspectives.

Challenges:

Editing Queries Mid-Execution- Have you ever tried to edit a query right after hitting enter? I find myself doing this about 10% of the time, and I’ve encountered a few pain points:

1. Disappearing Edit Window: As ChatGPT generates responses, the edit window moves upwards until it is no longer accessible.
2. Flow Disruption: To make edits, I need to pause the execution first and then click on edit.

User Insights:

When a user clicks on edit, it typically implies they want to stop the execution and make changes to their query. This presents an opportunity to improve the user experience by streamlining this process.

Proposed Solution:

Implementing a feature that automatically pauses the response generation upon the user clicking the edit button. This would allow users to make necessary corrections seamlessly.
