Do you want global peace?

Do you want global peace?

? Imagine all of the people living life in peace ? ~ John Lennon

Hey!

Imagine a world of peace...

Since childhood, I've had this vision of standing in a vast open prairie field with this wave of Peace encircling the entire globe all at once, like a great big gentle gust of wind blowing through the tall prairie grasses. It's my vision of the future, here on Earth.

?  And I am not the only one...

There are many of us out here, who carry this feeling of hope and optimism for our world. And it's totally doable... it's just the how and when.

Which brings us to the really unfortunate part, most have no idea of where to start, yet we believe in it.

Because of that, we stick to wishing and hoping. And we keep to ourselves with an attempt to maintain the hope, happiness and peace in our personal lives.

So What Do We Do About It?

Well, we've all seen the activists on TV and on Social Media. Maybe we've even been to a demonstration.

Everything focuses on anti this and against that. And that's just not what we believe in our hearts is the best way to create change.

It just causes more resistance and more disagreement. Think of your own personal life conflicts that you've experienced. Ever been met with resistance when attempting to create boundaries or requesting change?

We also often see these major global problems as 'not our problem' as our way of coping with it all. It's just too anxiety and stress provoking.

But that apathy towards it just makes the problem even worse. It extends the pain of our human family into a more difficult future and pushes it onto our future generations -- our kids and grandkids.

And how do we even begin to face such huge challenges ahead of us?

Here's How!

We need to aim at the cause of the problems to begin with. However huge the issues with realities like climate crisis, extreme poverty, and global conflicts are, global peace (or lack of it) is the central cause of these issues.

Which can seem like a daunting task and complete waste of energy, when we see the scale of these other issues.

Here's the truth. The 'symptoms' of war, resource loss and strife are cues of a deeper issue involving the lack of peace amongst our people in the world.

If there were peace amongst people, generosity and care would triumph. Collaborative efforts would stand out as the easiest path to transforming those challenges instead of fighting.

We also need to understand that not everyone wants that. Think of toxic relationships and attempting to heal or mend those. The people with those patterns often don't want to deal with their stuff.

So addressing this lack in the global consciousness of peace, you directly address the cause of those, huge in scale, symptoms. It's the quickest way to solve these issues completely surrounding every part of our daily lives.

We need to make the foundational basis, peace. Then we have our chance.

Now, there's even research emphasizing the major value of meditation. And when focused on peaceful efforts, it significantly decreases crime, terrorism and acts of violence. Isn't that just mind boggling, yet totally not surprising, all at the same time!!

If this is really so effective then why aren't we doing more of it? Here's the challenge.

I've been at the core of 2 major movements, one for peace and the other for climate crisis. What stopped them both dead in their tracks, wasn't the flack from outside of the movements. It was the toxic behaviours from people within the organizations causing fights and set backs.

After having been at the centre circle of these movements and witnessing first hand the problems, I've come up with a simple 5-piece solution.

Here Are The Pieces:

1) You must have the right people with the right 'machine' and the right culture for the movement itself.

2) Everyone must do the inner work on themselves for peace. That's why it is so critical to have the right culture.

3) We must all be consistent with being cohesive and organized, all while giving room to be independent and self-directed for the greater good of the movement. That's why it is so important to have the right aligned people.

4) It must be a social enterprise. In exchange for money, non-profits get lobbied for what actions to take. Straight up movements without any commerce have too much infighting. This is why you need the right machine.

5) You must be aligned with your life purpose and have the right aligned actions for the purpose at hand. This is why you need the right type of personal development and meditation culture.

“Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

Anyhow... Peaceful actions with a foundational basis of peace, essentially create peaceful results and outcomes.

Want To Get Involved? There Are 2 Ways.

1) Become an organizer for Peace.

I have a new training program, where I walk you through the steps to organize and coordinate a peaceful movement. Think of what the 60s attempted to do. Had it been organized, people worked on themselves and held the capacity to follow through with the consciousness of peace... our current society would be very very different.

To find out more about how you can get training to create a collaborative global movement for Peace and to see if the Peace Compass culture is a fit for you, book a call here.

2) Contribute financially.

If you see the value and potential of this, you know it's going to take a lot of resources, people and money to make it happen. Peace Compass has the vision and the experience to pull something like this off. To give a financial contribution*, please do so here.

*In radical transparency, your financial contribution will go to a business, Peace Compass. The money will be used within the culture and scope of the company objectives. Have questions, feel free to send an email.

The movement that I am proposing is a first. It isn't against Wall Street, oil tankers, politicians, climate crisis, so on and so on. It is a movement for Peace, that is dedicated to peace. It is time to reclaim our garden back and remove the weeds of conflict, from our own backyards, that we've cultivated for centuries. It is time.

This movement is unprecedented with the potential to make a real, lasting and positive difference in this world. And it needs your help.

Peace,

Leo Richard

Peace Compass Director
