Conversation 1:

Vee: "Hey John, looking at the way you are walking, I bet that hurts a lot.

John: "How did you know"

Vee: "Oh! I'm a fitness coach and I help people with chronic arthritis reduce their pain and get back into living normal lives again. I see that you are already limping, you should try (... mention a few remedies) to ease the pain.

Conversation 2:

John: "Hey Vanessa, I did what you suggested and I felt much better this morning. Thank you"

Vee: "I'm glad I could help. How do you feel, any pain?"

John: "Only when I stay on my feet for long. I really want to be able to dance like I used to. I fear I might not be able to do that any more because of the pain in my joints"

Vee: Hey come on, have faith. Here are a few other things you can add to your diet to help you reduce the pain and make your joints stronger (... mention more things ...)

As you continue to share remedies with John, and he also begins to see results after applying them.... A relationship is formed and trust is gradually being built.

Conversation 3

Vee: Hey John, I've got this group session with a group of my clients who are also recovering from arthritis. Care to join us this weekend?

John: "Heck yes! Anything to help me get back into my dancing shoes quickly would be great. How do I sign up?"

MARKETING is not just about buying and selling. It's more about helping people (your ideal customers) go from where they are (sad place), to where they desire to be (happy place).

Your product might be what they need to get there, but you need to BUILD that relationship first, before monetizing it.

You need to be seen by your perfect customers as their GUIDE and the SOLUTION to their problems.
