Most people talk about change, but they don’t do anything serious about it. If you want to change your life you need to have goals and a plan for how to achieve these, without these you can’t change your life.
5 ESSENTIAL PRINCIPLES FOR ANY CHANGE
1)BURNING DESIRE FOR CHANGE- People change because a few reasons: 1) when they are hurt enough, they have to; 2) when they see enough, they are inspired to; 3) when they learn enough, that they want to; 4) and when they receive enough that they can. Whatever your reason, you need to have a burning desire for change that will give you enough energy and optimism to start your endeavor, endure difficult periods, and achieve the change your desire.
2)WHAT IS THE AIM OF YOUR CHANGE?- Without the goal of change you can’t change anything. That goal needs to be concrete, not something abstract. Do you want to change your behavior, attitude, emotional reactions, thinking patterns, some traits of your personality, communication with other people, learn some skills, etc.? Whatever the object of your change, that needs to be specific if you want to change it. A goal should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. When you know your goal, now is the time to make an execution plan.
3)A PLAN OF CHANGE- A plan is an optimistic view of how you can achieve some goal, but while you execute your plan, you will receive feedback that will help you to make some adjustments to the plan. A plan is just the organization of your time and activities, the most important part of the plan is its execution of it. Taking action will show you the best if you plan well, or if you need to make some serious changes to a plan. Also, in a plan, you will need to set your priorities in the process of the change or you will just waste your time and energy.

4)TOOLS FOR FEEDBACK- If things went wrong in the process of changing your life or if you progress slowly, you need to know the reason for it. Feedback is an essential part of the process because if you did it correctly you will have fewer mistakes and wandering through the process. Active questions, a diary, monitoring and tracking of the process of change, and tables with our performances are some of the tools that will help you make this process more predictable and less frustrating by making the same mistakes.
5)CHANGE IS AN ONGOING PROCESS- Change is a process, that is not one deed, but the accumulation of many deeds. You need to work every day if you want to change your life. Changing your life can be hard, that is why we don’t need to underestimate the difficulty of this endeavor. Ups and downs are a part of this process, but if we want to avoid being frustrated by these, we need to be highly motivated, dedicated, and persistent. Without a mentor, especially if you want to make a tremendous change in your life, this process can be almost mission impossible.
#BONUS-WHY DO MOST PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE THEIR LIVES?- Any change is hard, especially if you want to change your life. Getting into this process without a mentor will make this endeavor even harder than it is. Support from friends and family is necessary, but first, you need to love, respect, and support yourself unconditionally. Change is uncertain, difficult, complete, complicated, and unknown, that is why you need to have the right knowledge and competence if you want to succeed in it. If we have just one life, and if we are not satisfied with it, why wouldn’t try to change it?
