DO YOU DO IT FOR VOCATION OR FOR BUSINESS?

This title may seem controversial, but its aim is to raise awareness about what we do and why we do it. It cannot be denied that there are some people who pursued their career not out of vocation but for the financial gain they could get from it. I recommend that if you are too sensitive to read this article, you stop reading now.

We see how some well-paid professionals lack the desire to help people, and it’s evident in the way they treat the person they are attending to. I want to be very clear in this written article and specify that I am referring to those people who, despite earning a good income in a profession meant to help others, simply show no interest in helping anyone.

Are we truly interested in helping others, or are we just doing what we do solely to make money? Are we aware that when a person sees that we genuinely want to help them, they will come back, and money will only be the result of how well you treated that person so that they return again?

We could talk about this for almost a whole day, but I want to be more precise about some elements we should consider to give our best every day in what we do:

1. Passion: I’m under the impression that this is a word we don’t hear much anymore. To do things with excellence and give our best every day, let’s remember to never lose our passion.

2. Attitude: This is a very important factor in the service or work we do. It can even determine a salary raise or a promotion. Always have the best attitude when doing things, and the people who receive your attention will benefit, as will you.

These two elements, along with putting God first, will determine success in whatever you do.

I’d like to know your perspective on this.
