Do you use your strengths every day? Amazing things happen when you do...
Focus on your strengths
The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling - Fabienne Fredrickson
Our education system has supported us to where we are today and it typically focuses on our weaknesses and tries to strengthen them. This approach continues as we move into wider society but becomes a negative detractor and not a positive reinforcer. It is far too easy a response to say you are not good at something and you need to do something about it. It is an extremely negative response and one that quickly creates conflict.??Why not focus on peoples strengths and build on them.??There’s scientific evidence that this promotes much better results so start focusing on your own strengths and those of others.
In business, Teams whose members Strongly Agree that they have the chance to play to their strengths every day are:
·???????38% More Likely to be highly productive
·???????44% More likely to earn higher customer satisfaction scores
·???????50% More likely to have high employee retention

DO YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO WHAT YOU DO BEST EVERY DAY???
Our true innate strengths are often hidden away under deep layers of our past, behind many years of negatively focusing on our weaknesses.??Even when I uncover my clients’ strengths there’s sometimes a pushback saying they don’t see themselves having these strengths.??We then work at uncovering situations of themselves at their very best, identifying moments in their lives where they are in their peak performance state (reflect back at the moments in your life when you just knew you were amazing and equally loving the moment you were in).??We uncover these many moments, clarify your own personal strengths (you may have many, but we focus on your very best) and then work at incorporating them into your daily life.?
These strengths can become multipliers. If we can multiply them, we can create multiples of these amazing moments in your day. It’s a magical moment when clients really grasp this. They often skip out of our one-on-one sessions reinvigorated with the zest of life they had in their informative years.??We have often been so focused on improving our weaknesses we had forgotten how fantastic it is to be at our best, using our strengths as our greatest tool for reaching success.
What are your strengths???Think back to times when you were at your very best.??What skills were you using when you were really happy and at your best???Ask your best friends about you at your best and what they think are your strengths. Identify what they are and take note. Only by leveraging your strengths daily can you start living at your best.??Find your strengths and use them.
