Do you use ChatGPT? The Results
Thank you to everyone who participated in my recent LinkedIn poll regarding the usage of ChatGPT. The poll revealed that 86% of participants are currently using ChatGPT, showcasing the widespread adoption of this AI tool. Interestingly, 7% expressed the intention to use ChatGPT in the future, while another 7% are not currently using the tool. No one voted in the category of "I will never use ChatGPT.".
Listening to the various speakers around AI and ChatGPT, what was interesting to learn at the B2B Marketing Expo UK was around the role of AI in a creative setting. One observation I made was on the role of AI in nurturing creativity. While AI is undoubtedly becoming more robust, it is crucial to recognise its limitations in replacing the whole human creative process.
My viewpoint is that AI, including ChatGPT, will not fully replace the human element in the creative realm. The essence of the human spark, the unique perspective, and the emotional depth are aspects that AI will never be able to feel. Instead, what AI excels at is identifying areas for improvement, refining ideas, and contributing to the generation of new creative directions.
I like to see AI as a collaborator rather than a replacement. It can be a valuable ally in the creative process, offering insights, suggesting improvements, and exploring alternative avenues. However, the ultimate nucleus of any good idea should and will invariably remain human.
