“Those who know, do. Those that understand, teach.”
― Aristotle
When writing something, requires a lot of data accumulation and research. Even after that if you have a lot of data then also you might not able to develop content. Just because you don't have an understanding of the topic or the product. when someone does not have the understanding then it will be difficult to write in a language that connects. moving here and there in the topics is not the kind of delivery you do when you have a live conversation. so think it of the same, no person likes jumping among the topics.
When writing something for a renowned product requires showing off confidence in content too. When you know what its advantages and disadvantages are and understand the process, the tonality of content changes. You start to build a tone of confidence in content that gets reflected.
Confident tone: "X product is used when situation Y occurs."
Underconfident tone, " X product can be used when situation Y occurs"
Building rapport is not easy when you are just giving your piece of writing. That piece of content is your bullet for the gun. if fired correctly it will hit the spot otherwise it will just miss it. So when someone has understood the topic, they may introduce instances from real life that creates that rapport with the audience. And the bullet you fired has hit the spot. When people read the content they should feel this is my problem and this is my life and this is going to be my solution. That is how the relationship is built.
The most critical part is how to create a better understanding of the product. It increases when you have your hands on the product. Or at least saw it working. if writing about a hot topic you might have seen something about it. Either you had some understanding or watched the video somewhere and got some idea. So your experience also counts while writing.

As an example, if I have to write about the Cardio exercises are beneficial or not. From my experience, I can write it because I am living that life. I was fat and then started doing workouts and watching myself lose those inches. Doing cardio was my daily routine after workouts. I can include some stories of life as well. This will show a better understanding and also a live example.
