Do You Understand the Actual Financials of Your Chiro Practice?

If you are wanting (or trying) to grow your Chiro Business, understanding the key financial levers is the real secret to being able to scale your practice without the overwhelm or stress.

Most businesses try to grow by just building revenue, which is usually by getting new leads & clients to make more money.

That’s wrong!

It’s building Profit that feeds your family. But very few practice owners understand their financials well enough (if at all) to know how it is possible to build profit without building revenue.

You may think you can grow one without the other but you are WRONG.

The traditional and seemingly most popular model of building a business using only a lead-generation strategy is almost never the best way to make more money.

But if you are not looking deeper into where your business is really at, how can you be sure that more leads are the right next step?

Every condition in your business—good or bad—is reflected in the way money flows through the company. Financial reporting can and should be used as a powerful management tool to really understand the best way for your practice to move to the next level.

  • Do you have ongoing, effective financial management systems for annual budgets, cash flow management, and tracking of your key financial indicators?
  • Do you understand the numbers in your business? (Revenue, COGS versus Overheads, Gross Profit vs Net Profit)
  • Do you regularly review these numbers to see where the opportunities lie?
  • Is your Practice regularly achieving its financial targets?
  • Do you have a plan to get there?

Well put Ian and true for any business. If you don't know your numbers it's like sailing out of Sydney harbour and keep looking at the Opera house and harbour bridge. :-)
