Do you take Path 1 or Path 2?

Do you take Path 1 or Path 2?

Have you had this experience before … where you were at a crossroads, and you had to make a choice — take path 1 or path 2?

Path 1 you know oh-so well. It’s the well-traveled, familiar and safe route you’ve taken for many years. You know this route so well you sometimes even speed through without paying much attention because you know it so well.

Path 2 may look uncertain. You never had to go there even though you may have been curious. Even though it looks like there’s unfamiliar terrain, hills and windy roads, you also know that path 2 has a lot of thrill, beauty, fun, magic and adventure.

Which would you take?

Most people may not realize it, but they are on one of these paths already.

I asked myself, what path am I on right now?

At this moment in time, with so much uncertainty in the air, it seems like wherever we were a few years ago, we all got thrown onto the first path - with all its comforts, safe and cozy, and endless hours of Netflix. And, it’s the place where everyone in the world got to know… really well.?

And, it’s a place we needed to be - to rest, restore, and re-energize.

So, even if you were already exploring the sometimes bumpy terrain of the second path, and got knocked down, what I realize is that, even while you’re chilling or working from home, know that you’re still on the path.?

It just might not look like what you think it’s supposed to look like.

I want to encourage you to see beyond what you think your path is supposed to look like and remind you that it’s time to get back on the path that’s worth taking… the path worth taking a stand for.

Even if you’re reading this, and thinking...

“What’s the point?”

“I can’t even do what I really want to right now.”

I want you to know 3 things:

  1. Wherever you’re at right now, it’s absolutely okay. (Remember, no one ever gets to be wrong. We’re coaches after all.)?
  2. You’re not alone.
  3. Your dreams are absolutely worth taking bold action for and standing up for, regardless of where you’re at.

Yes, it may be much easier to just get up whenever you feel like it, stay in your pjs, and watch another episode of (fill in the blank).?

Let me tell you. That’s going to get boring, so fast. You may already be incredibly bored.

So, there’s no better time than this very moment to stand up and take a stand for living and honoring your dreams.

Join me.?

Yes, actually stand up, especially if you’re sitting right now reading this.?

Get up!?

Feel the ground under your feet and repeat after me…

I matter.

My dreams matter.

My life matters.

Every part of me matters.

Even though we don’t know what’s going on in the world right now…

I am safe.

My loved ones are safe.

I matter.

My dreams matter.

My life matters.

Every part of me matters.

Let’s go.

Take a deep breath. Take 2 more.

Now, let’s start moving. Really. Right now, or sometime today. Get up and move. I want you to start walking in place or around wherever you’re at and feel your feet moving and your energy moving and flowing.?

If you want to be outside, go for a nice walk. If you’d rather stay indoors, put on some of your favorite music that you can move and groove to, and have a great time for at least 10 good minutes.

During my live virtual events, I always have everyone get up, turn up the music and dance. It’s awesome! (My next live virtual event is happening April 28-30, by the way … just thought I’d let you know.)?

While you’re moving, dream, visualize and feel how it feels to be doing what you love - sharing your gifts and talents. Feel the gratitude of your clients thanking you for being there and encouraging them to get up and move.?

You’ll notice how great you feel when you’re connecting with the path worth taking, and encouraging your (soon-to-be) clients to do the same.?

Wherever you’re at, keep moving.?

Your clients need you to keep moving.

And, the world needs you to keep moving.

Don’t stop.?

With all the love in my heart,

Christian

It is true that the path least trod is the hardest choice. We all fear uncertainty and without a guide, a coach to motivate us into action the risk of exposure will always presents itself as a deterrent
