If you suffer from Shiny Object Syndrome, the first thing I want you to do is look at your present life to see the areas where this syndrome is showing its face. Then, make a list.
Your list is going to comprise of all the businesses and projects you’ve started but have never really finished, automated or focused on.
The second thing you want to do is to make a checklist for each of the businesses and projects that you have on that list. The checklist is going to include:
>> Systems and automation that need to be setup for this business.
>> Products and services that need to be developed for this business.
>> Marketing calendar that needs to be created and implemented.
>> Key team members that need to be hired for this new start-up.
>> Action items that need to happen before the business will profit.
>> Major gaps or holes in the business’ idea or project plan.
When you have your checklist done for each business or project, take a step back and look at the list.
Do you see common threads or common gaps?
Often times, we’re missing a few key ingredients that are needed to pull all of our ideas together. Maybe it’s the right team. Maybe it’s a marketing strategy. Or, maybe it’s your systems and automation.
When you’ve realized the areas where you are lacking, look to fill up those areas immediately.
