Do you suffer from lower back pain? It’s not about your back, it’s about your pelvis

Are you suffering from morning back stiffness or stiffness when you get up out of a chair? A lot of doctors and therapists recommend wearing an elastic back brace to support your back. While you may feel a little “relief,” it is a band aid approach. The real root of your problem is NOT with your back, it’s with your pelvis.

When the pelvis gets pulled forward, which comes from sitting too much, the upper front thigh muscles tighten, which can pull the pelvis forward causing a kink in your lower back. The inner thighs can do the same thing.

This is how it started for many older people who now walk bent over. Do you want this to be you? Though some may have a form of arthritis, much can still be done to alleviate the tightness, and subsequent pain, with the Stretch n’ Release exercises and technique.

To help address your lower back pain, the Stretch n’ Release technique focuses on releasing the tension in your thighs to release the pelvis, which starts with stretching and releasing the tension, not strength training.
