Have you ever felt like you just plain suck at something? You're not alone. In fact, embracing our weaknesses might be the key to unlocking our true potential in business and life. Let's dive into why sucking isn't so bad after all, and how it can actually propel you towards success.

Why We Don't "Succeed": The Ego Problem
The number one reason many of us don't achieve the success we desire? Our fragile egos. We're so afraid of being seen as weak or incompetent that we avoid the very thing that could help us grow: failure.
The Success Equation
Success = Acquiring new skills + Doing what we don't know + Embracing failure
The more we can embrace our "suckiness," the better chance we have of winning in the long run.

5 个月Nice article, Chris A. Evans. Honestly, I miss a part of the success equation, and that is to learn and improve. It's like some people I know who attend one after the other online course and forget to act. Evaluating and learning after doing what we don't know is indispensable. Would you agree?

5 个月Loved this approach “ embrace your suckiness.” Early when I started my first business I told myself embrace that there are tasks you honestly suck at or don’t care for. Learn them. Then live aware of the experts in alignment witn you and they will help propel you forward. And they did. I continue to hold this thought pattern. Thanks for sharing these points for me to reflect and ponder Chris.
