Do you Still Believe?

Many people have started avoiding setting goals or New Year’s resolutions with their health: not because they don’t know what they want, but because they don’t believe they can do it.
Whilst on one hand I agree with the anti-New Years Resolution sentiment; in January people go overboard, set unsustainable targets and routines and soon it all breaks down - for some that happens every single year.? The stats on resolutions success are not good!
Also it’s an arbitrary point in time - we can start afresh any day and in any moment - no need to wait until January 1st (or 2nd)
But at least they’re trying and surely that’s better than giving up?
It makes me feel a bit sad actually: People who have been incredibly successful in business or career, but have a blindspot when it comes to their body and lifestyle
People who have created wealth, yet neglected their health
Some have failed over and over and reached a point where they’ve given up…often incredibly frustrated - embarrassed even - that they’ve been able to build a business, but not a healthy lifestyle
It’s true that entrepreneurs and business owners have some of the biggest challenges to overcome with health and lifestyle:
?> the hours?
?> the travel
?> that someone always needs something
?> that when you run your own business it’s never “done”
But the irony is that’s exactly why we must take care of our health…
We just need to harness some of the skills you’ve used to build your business and apply it to your health and lifestyle:
Those are some of the reasons why - if you can put aside your past experiences with your health and fitness - you CAN make it stick, you CAN change.
These are the reasons why you should believe in yourself.
You will need a different approach to those you’ve used before but master your health, and you take your business to the next level as well.
You’ll need a clear vision and goals
You’ll need some things to measure objectively
You’ll need to identify the actions required
You’ll need a plan

You’ll need systems
You’ll need to check you’re on track an adjust accordingly
And you’ll need to believe.
