Do You Recognize Your Self-Worth?

Do you tend to measure yourself according to others’ standards? Do you tell yourself you’re not as smart, talented, pretty, healthy, or successful as you should be? Do you doubt your self-worth?
I’m here to tell you that you are worthy, despite your perceived imperfections.
Your inner light shines, even in your darkest moments. It may dim at times, but as long as you’re living, it can never truly be snuffed out. This inner light is your inherent self-worth—the unique qualities that make you YOU. Embrace your individuality and recognize your self-worth, even if that means going against others’ standards. As Marianne Williamson says (see her poem below), “There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.”
To break free from the confines of judgment and criticism, practice self-compassion and stop comparing yourself to others. It’s easy to view people from afar—through social media, TV, or surface-level interactions—and think they “have it together.” However, people only show you their best sides, the parts they wish you to see. It’s impossible to measure up to these false facades of perfection.
Comparison is the thief of joy, so focus on your own progress and growth. With time and practice, you can learn to love and accept yourself just the way you are. Keep striving towards your goals (because they are worth it, and so are you!) and never forget your self-worth.
If you’re struggling in this season of life, consider sending me a message (I’d love to chat!) or exploring my DreamBuilder program to create the life you love and deserve.
Remember, you are deserving of love, respect, and happiness. Don't let anyone, especially yourself, convince you otherwise. Keep shining!
Sincerely, Louise
