Do You Really Meet New Bloggers?Daily?
One of my biggest blogging mistakes was remaining in my networking comfort zone.
I networked with the same bloggers daily. I rarely if ever ventured outside of these circles.
My blogging friends did expand my success. I feel grateful for their generosity. But I suffered because I did not grow my blog significantly from an exponential perspective.
Eventually, I hit a ceiling in terms of my blogging growth. My limited friend network only reached so many people. Even though I felt grateful for their support I feared doing the work to expand outside of my blogging friend network.
Everything changed the moment I decided to meet a steady volume of new bloggers daily who existed outside of my comfort zone. These were people from different friend networks all together.
I found these people on Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora and Reddit. LinkedIn, Quora and Reddit are perhaps my three favorite spots for meeting new bloggers because save a few blogging friends on LinkedIn, almost no one from my original blogging friend network actively participated on Reddit and Quora.
Following hashtags, actively participating on subreddits and answering questions on Quora related to blogging linked me to new bloggers on a daily basis. I don’t want to estimate the number of new bloggers I have met daily since beginning this approach because this concept is far beyond an inanimate number.
The idea here is to face your fears, to leave your comfort zone and to meet new human beings well outside of your established blogger friend network. This is the way to long-term, exponential blogging growth.
Meeting new bloggers expands everything with your blogging campaign significantly. Imagine if 100 people visit your blog today based on your current friend network. Meeting and helping 25 new bloggers tends to increase that 100 number to 125, 150 or maybe even 500 people. This is the power of meeting and bonding with new human beings on a regular basis.
Play Big
Stop playing small. Start playing big. Meet new bloggers on a daily basis. Never rest inside of your comfort zone. Open yourself up to new people. Open yourself up to people with a different viewpoint. Network outside of your blogging circles to learn new ways of blogging. Your friend network may feel comfortable but expansive blogging growth sits well outside of your comfort zone.
Don’t charge forward to meet new bloggers from fears like greed or desperation. Simply meet new bloggers to have fun helping and connecting with human beings. More is not the answer. But less isn’t the answer either.
As a rule, human beings love to be firmly ensconced inside of their comfort zones. Most bloggers rest inside of a networking comfort zone because it feels safe and secure. But eventually your growth will stall if you don’t meet new people because a limited friend network can only reach so many individuals.

How Many New Bloggers Do You Meet Regularly?
How many new bloggers do you meet daily? Answer honestly. Leave your networking comfort zone. Meet new people. Open yourself up to new individuals. Networking takes time and work. But exponential growth awaits bloggers who continue to meet new bloggers on a daily basis through a variety of channels.
Continue to build bonds with your established blogging buddies. But also meet new bloggers to expand your traffic and income potential. No one accelerates their success by depending on a small group of humans for their blogging growth. Expansion occurs as you meet and greet new bloggers on a daily basis.
Admittedly, I feared venturing outside of my blogger network because critics inevitably awaited me. Strangers scared me. I feared debating individuals. I also feared being harshly criticized. Meeting new people means accessing new experiences, some of which become highly uncomfortable when you enter the unfamiliar.
Digital Nomads
My wife and I experience this frequently as full-time digital nomads. Since we have no home base we travel indefinitely through a series of house sits and rentals. Meeting new homeowners and caring for their pets is both fun and freeing. We love this life. But as a hyperactive dog whines at me incessantly while I dictate these words I also realize how meeting new people triggers fear, a sense of contrast and a seeming sprint outside of my comfort zone on a daily basis.
Meeting new people and embracing new experiences triggers unconscious — and conscious — fears that you need to shed to live peacefully, joyously and abundantly.
Humans adore comfort, familiarity and set routines. Being a digital nomad, house sitting and renting new places rockets you outside of your comfort zone into fear, freedom and quite a different way of living.
I finally decided to live my online life as I live my offline life. Meeting new bloggers on a daily basis accelerated growth for Blogging From Paradise. Even though it feels uncomfortable to meet new bloggers daily the upsides are literally limitless. On the flip side, you will hit a growth ceiling if you don’t expand your blogger friend network.
What sounds like the better choice for a blogger who wants to succeed and help more people in the process?
