Do you REACT or RESPOND?
Reaction becomes the sudden Reflex Action, an involuntarily unplanned, and unassessed form of Response. Its our Emotions expressed as our relative reoccurrence, a notable event happened to us in the Past.
Practice the Pause.
Practice the Pause, here. Wait few seconds. Tell or Ask yourself, Analyze & Assess, what just has happened, and then let yourself Act. Now, that's Response.
Many a times, #responding takes you through #rightdirections and it does get delayed too. But it's always better to be Delayed, than making a hasty call. Whereas, #reacting takes you through a lot of #emotionalbaggage in the Past. Which many a times, disturbs and shakes you off from the pursuing vision.
Naturally, we humans intend to React, that's where we need to #change and #evolve . I have personally witnessed change in myself after I started practicing "Pause", before reacting. And that brings me narrowing-down my tendency to react more & respond less.
Evolving as a Responsive personnel, is helping me to self-analyze, self-evaluate, and self-assess more often. Which also brings in to me, filtering out a lot while responding. In layman's language- Think before you Speak. Act mindful before you React.
