This week's theme is all about stress resilience and living intentionally.
It’s April and next Monday we will all ‘spring forward’ into the month of May, welcoming sunnier days and more sunlight. We'll soon be entering the 5th month of 2023, Quarter 2 has begun and for many we are re-assessing the goals and intentions we set for ourselves earlier in the year.
With the new beginnings Spring has brought and Summer on the horizon, May can often feel like an opportunity to set new intentions. With all these changes for many Spring can sometimes bring forward feelings of stress and anxiety.
But one area that is often left out in conversations around stress is the importance of being intentional about building our stress resilience. The concept of stress resilience involves understanding the different responses between shocks to our sympathetic nervous system (which are activated during stressful situations and sending our body into survival mode) and truly calm moments.
Stress is normal and something we all have to feel but setting the intention to remain resilient through tough times is important. Have a listen to our new track?Cold Shower to help you with this.

This Week's Words of Wisdom???
“We live in a world obsessed with results... we have a tendency to put so much emphasis on whether or not the arrow hits the target. If, however, we put that intensity and focus and sincerity into the process—where we place our feet, how we hold the bow, how we breathe during the release of the arrow—then hitting the bullseye is simply a side effect.
The point is not to worry about hitting the target. The point is to fall in love with the boredom of doing the work and embrace each piece of the process...It is not the target that matters. It is not the finish line that matters. It is the way we approach the goal that matters."
