The good thing about marketing is that there are so many options to choose???
The bad thing about marketing is that there are so many options to choose?????
Yes, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. With so much choice it can be so easy to get caught into the trap of trying to do too much.?
When this happens, you often get overwhelmed and can’t keep up with doing all the stuff you need to do. So, you “half-arse it” which means giving it 50% on lots of different channels rather than 100% on one or two.?
If this sounds like you, then you need to go narrow and deep.?
What exactly does that mean, you ask?
It means to narrow your channel focus and go deeper on the 1-2 channels you choose.?
Example:
Instead of being on LinkedIn, Facebook and Insta, sending a monthly EDM, writing a blog, creating a bunch of video content and creating a podcast - pick just one or two. And do them really well!

So that might be that you select LinkedIn and do posts, newsletters, audio messages, lives, create a showcase page. You are going deeper on the one channel and using more of the features. So it is more focused to where your audience is, giving you more chances to be seen in a way that makes sense.
Then your 2nd channel might be a weekly podcast to support it.?
Now this is just one example and what you choose to do should be based on where your audience is then your skillset.?
You simply can’t be everywhere as you lose focus and do them all badly.?And then nothing gets results. So next time a marketing expert tells you that you need to be everywhere ESPECIALLY if you are doing it all yourself, remind yourself that you are human and cannot possibly be everywhere (even with the plethora of technology at our finger tips)?
Narrow your marketing and see better results. Make your audience fall in love with you by being seen as the expert in your niche.
If you are unsure where to start to narrow down the process and need some guidance, I'd love to help you in an Exploration Session ??
