Do You Need To Go To Church or Is Online Just Fine?

As a frequent business traveler I love the fact that I can learn on the go. YouTube, Audible books, Netflix, podcasts, and social media outlets allow me to stay up to date with topics that interest me. I can take online courses or watch video content on demand and that includes sermons from my favorite pastors. So it would not be uncommon for someone to ask:

Do I still need to go to Church (in a physical place) each week or would it be just as effective watching online?

Are there benefits from attending a local Church each week in a digital age? I believe that there are clear reasons to attend a local church. However I could not tell the story better than Pastor Robert Morris does in this video. Take a few minutes to hear his answer on this very important question.

I pray that everyone reading this article will find a great church home and experience the presence, power, and people of God. You can start by making a commitment to attend church this Christmas season and renew your commitment to grow in your faith in 2020.

Christmas Services: A Few Ideas

I am on the Board of Trustees for Vive Church based in the Silicon Valley, California. So it would be my pleasure to invite you to attend Christmas services at one of their five campus locations in California and also in Austin, Honolulu, Chicago, Rome, and Milan. Learn more by visiting: https://vivechurch.org/locations

In southern Florida, where Carrie and I live, I would also like to recommend one of the 9 campuses at Christ Fellowship. You can learn about their holiday services and locations here: https://gochristfellowship.com/christmas/

And since I will be in New Jersey for Christmas week, I hope that you can join Carrie and I at Renaissance Church in Summit for their Christmas Eve services. Details can be found here: https://www.renchurch.com/christmas/
