Do you need a big team for your RFID Pilot?

In today's post, the throwback story with Hans Petter - retail director of Moods, Norway gives insight on how his team worked when implementing RFID. Yet another case highlighting that the difference between success and failure is choosing a great team and distributing accountabilities in the right way: "Who is going to run this project? I'm glad that I had that responsibility because for sure this is a supply chain retail project and IT is supporting it"

How many people from your team were involved in the whole project?

From the head office very few actually. It was me to do more on the project when we were implementing and another person following up stock take in all stores. I'm now not involved anymore but there's one person in my team following up all the stores weekly. We are a small organisation. We have two and a half people in the IT department.

I know one of the criteria was that you wanted to implement RFID without the IT people involved

Yes, that was actually a small discussion we had before we started the project - Who is going to run this project? I'm glad that I had that responsibility because for sure this is a supply chain retail project and IT is supporting it.

Watch this space for the last part of this interview tomorrow - 10th of May.

Thank you lots,
