We are always learning and growing, aren't we? I am always?investing?in my own further personal development. I think personal growth is like peeling back the layers of an onion and going in a bit deeper each time.
During one session, two limiting core beliefs came into my realisation - and wow, they really hit home.
"I'm not Important"
"I don't matter"?
These beliefs were put in place, probably by the time I was 5.
5???!!! ?????? I mean wth...
Are they true? NO but I got quite emotional when I?felt them in my body. I can see how these buried beliefs have affected so many of the relationships in my life.
With the help of affirmations and my beloved mirror work, I am really shifting them but it was so important to have that awareness in the first place. Magic always happens on the other side of awareness.
Are you aware of your limiting core beliefs? If so, what can you do to shift them?

I love Louise Hay's incredible mirror work and in?a previous blog I?talk about how important it is. It's so?powerful and I also share?an exercise to try. ?????? Here's the?link if you'd like to give it a go. Also, first thing in the morning when I'm looking my best ??, I say to myself, in the mirror:
"I love you, I?really, really love you".
At first, this was so hard to do but I can honestly say I cannot imagine not saying it to myself in the mirror, at least once a day now. The changes I see in my clients is just incredible after doing this for just a couple of weeks.
The part of us that carries all those negative messages that lead us to develop those damaging limiting beliefs is often called the Inner Child. Although there may be happy messages in there too, the negative ones are what limit us today.?

2 年Growing up in isolation made me think I wasn't important as a child. Often I blamed myself for not understanding or trying hard enough in school so those lingering feelings do still remain. I rely on prayer to help me through. This is incredible work you're doing, Liz Doyle the Positive Change Coach ? Your tagline is ace ??
