Do You Make Decisions Based On Faith Or Fear?
AM I CRAZY? The answer is yes, but here's why I'm asking. A couple of weeks ago, I turned down Nightingale-Conant when they offered to produce my One Belief Away audiobook.
Then, an hour ago, Jack Canfield finally returned my email offering to be a part of the Legend Summit in January...and I said, "No."
WHAT! Why? Well...Nightingale-Conant is only using in-house voice talent to record audiobooks because of COVID. If I create an audiobook, I want it to be in my voice. Sylvester Stallone almost lost the opportunity to make his Rocky movie because he wanted to star in it. Well, if Rocky can do it, so can I.
And Jack Canfield. Well, I have so many amazing Legends already booked, there was no room left. So I invited him to participate in the next one. We'll see what happens.
My message is to act from a position of strength, rather than from fear. Most of my life, I made personal and business decisions based on fear. My biggest worries were:
a) I'm going to run out of money!
b) I'm running out of time!
c) I don't know what to do (and I'm going to fail!)
