Do you look back?

Often we are told not to look back, not to dwell on the past. I agree with the not dwelling but I don’t agree with ‘don’t look back’.
When you look back you can:
- See everything you have achieved
- How far you have come
- And most importantly who has helped you on your journey
It is with gratitude and pride you can give thanks to the people that have made every accomplishment, even the smallest, (sometimes getting out of bed is a big deal) a reality.
The greatest gift you can give yourself and others is a heartfelt, genuine, thank you.
Here's a SuccessCulture Challenge
1: Reflect on what you have achieved recently
2: Thank yourself - yes you, you made it happen!
3: Find one person (or more) who has directly or indirectly helped you in your achievement
4: Call them, email them, get up, talk to them - THANK THEM - go on, you might just make their day!
The Best Use of Your Next 5 Minutes
Research shows that gratitude is the first step towards Happiness and Happiness breeds Success (not the other way around).

5 年Dwelling on the past is a double edge sawed. I agree that you should not dwell on the past as this can lead to depression, however, you cannot forget the past as this allows us to learn from our mistakes.
I love to solve complex scaffolding problems with simple solutions using software and design automation.
