Do you live once, or do you die once?

In times of global uncertainty, particularly here in Kenya, I find solace in poetry. It compels me to ponder existential questions I may have overlooked. Do we live once, or do we die once? I once believed the former, but Snoopy challenged that notion: "We live every day and die once!"
Have you encountered Mary Oliver? Her poem "The Summer Day" ends with a profound question: "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
Amidst the fragility of life in Kenya today, where it can be extinguished as easily as a candle, this question resonates deeply. It urges us to look forward with clarity and purpose. So, I ask you: 10 years from now, what will you regret not pursuing or learning today?
Perhaps you've always dreamed of:
Let’s embrace each day with intention and courage. Ask yourself again: what will you regret in a decade if you don't act now? If you need support, I am here...
"Happy everyday living, my friends! ??"

4 个月Some deep thoughts to ponder! I recently told a friend who was doubting herself that more often than not, most of us give ourselves a lot less credit than we deserve. And this hinders us from pursuing our dreams and desires. Thanks for the piece.
