Do you like something to look forward to?
The Culture Ministry
We work with CEOs and Leadership Teams to build successful inclusive businesses.
We are smack bang in the middle of winter where I am, and I have never been a winter girl.?
Yes I enjoy rugging up in warm clothes, drinking wine by an open fire and being out in some crisp cool weather. But sparingly. Like for a special treat. Not for months on end.?
?When I moved to New Zealand I was looking forward to some cooler weather (after many years in hot humid Singapore), but a couple of winters in, now not so much.?
?I’m a summer kinda gal. It’s why I loved living in Singapore, despite having 24/7 fuzzy hair.?
?At the start of the year my husband agreed that we would plan at least a week somewhere warm in the middle of the year. But you know, plans didn’t quite pan out.?
?Thinking I needed to see some friends and connect with the incredible Diversity & Inclusion network, AND grab some warm weather, I booked a trip to Singapore.?
?I’m so looking forward to hopping on that plane and landing in the little red dot.?
?How good is it to have something to look forward to? (so good in my book!)
?While I’m there I’ll also be running a workshop on developing your influencing skills. In my experience this is one of the most important leadership skills to have in your toolkit.?

?It’s also the number 1 skill that was identified as needed for Diversity & Inclusion leaders to have in The Culture Ministry’s Diversity & Inclusion Salary and Market Survey, for the last two years running.?
I also think we need influencing skills to address the realities of the Diveristy & Inclusion landscape.
According to Culture Amp’s latest report on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Work: ????????????
We need people, like you, influencing the agenda and progressing Diversity & Inclusion work within organisations.
I would love to see you on Tuesday 17 September. It’s kindly hosted by Macquarie Group at their beautiful offices at Marina One.?
Would you like to catch up while I’m in Singapore? I love talking about how you can build an inclusive culture in your organisation. You can book in an in-person meeting here?from 16 to 19 September.?
