Every job interview has a similar layout. You enter the room, give your best handshake, answer the hiring manager’s questions, and try to impress them. Did you know that most employers give you a chance to ask them your questions at the end of the interview ? This is a small window for you to interview the company and find out whether it is a good workplace.
Why should you ask questions at the end of the interview?
Of course, some of you may feel the urge to say, “No thanks, I’m all good,” and quit the room. However, that will give the hiring manager a negative impression of you. This opportunity to ask questions gives you the stage to show off your knowledge and in-depth understanding of the industry. It also allows you to get a better understanding of the company. Imagine getting stuck behind a cubicle in a toxic workplace just because you didn’t ask the right questions during the interview.
