CDSL Group is made up of many parts.?We have our consumer brands, including eSpares, which provide the spare parts and advice homeowners need to fix their appliances themselves. Our trade brand, Connect Distribution, supports independent traders and engineers by selling to them wholesale as well as working with big-name retailers. Then there's the service side of our business, which includes our Repaircare brand.

Repaircare has a UK-wide network of engineers to facilitate professional repairs in people's homes. So, we thought we'd shine a light on this excellent service that unites faulty appliances with skilled engineers and helps to reduce the growing problem of?e-waste in?landfill.

We're extremely proud to have the Repaircare brand as part of CDSL Group! Since it was established back in 2002, the network has gone from strength to strength, helping homeowners?get?their household appliances?fixed, fast!

It is the UK's leading independent kitchen appliance repair specialist and consists of a network of over 500 professional engineers who complete around 5000 appliance repairs across the UK every single week. Since the?brand was launched, our skilled members have repaired over 1 million appliances nationwide! James O'Hara our Service Manager?at CDSL Group, tells us more:

"Our Repaircare service offers homeowners a fixed price repair for when an appliance breaks down. The cost covers everything?including?call out charges, evaluation, labour,?parts, a professional safety check and VAT, so there are no hidden fees. Plus, our engineers are fully qualified and work to extremely high standards.

"As well as benefits to customers, Repaircare also offers engineers a platform where they can receive regular and guaranteed work with fixed payments along with all the tools and support they need. In a competitive industry, it's vital for engineers to have a stable income?with?regular work and joining our network can offer them both."

Our Repaircare Customers

Homeowners?can?access the?Repaircare website?to?instantly book a repair. After entering the required information, they are given a fixed price and their job will be sent out to one of our repair specialists. Customers are then kept up to date with when the engineer will arrive and how long the repair should take. All?large household?appliances are included such as dishwashers, cookers, fridge freezers,?washing machines and more. We operate nationwide and our network of engineers can repair appliances from all the leading manufacturers.

Repaircare also carries out repair work for appliance aftercare and warranties too. We work with many reputable warranty providers and send our engineers when repair work covered by the warranty is required.?

"Repaircare customers can be safe in the knowledge that the engineers we send out are fully qualified for the job. We keep track of qualifications and certificates and make sure these are always kept?up-to-date?and our engineers are equipped with the required skills and the most?up-to-date?information. We are trusted by many warranty providers and receive thousands of job requests from these too!"?

Our Repaircare Engineers

Without our engineers, there would be no Repaircare! So we make sure they are taken care of, have plenty of work coming their way and enjoy the perks that come with working for an established business.

Our engineers are given a fixed payment for the labour they do and are paid on the same day each month to guarantee a steady, regular income. The spare parts they need for jobs can be ordered through our online ordering system, Connections, with next day delivery. Any parts that aren't used during the repair can be returned and engineers will receive 100% credit, so they never lose out with added surcharge. If no fault is found whilst on a job, the fixed payment will still be made.?

Everything is managed on our Repair Management System (RMS) which is integrated with Connections to allow engineers to book jobs, update the status of a repair, add notes, order parts and receive electronic invoices, making the process a whole lot smoother.

"Because we complete aftersales and warranty repairs for many big-name companies as well as regular requests from homeowners, we always have jobs available on our system. The support our engineers receive is really great too. We have in-house engineers who are on hand to offer help and assistance at any point during a repair so our engineers are never on their own."
