Do you know Jesus?

Do you know Jesus?

Stare at the four orange dots in the center of the image above for 60 seconds. Then quickly close your eyes, while facing a lamp or a bright window. With your eyes closed, you will see a white circle with the face of Jesus inside it.

But is that the face of Jesus? What did he really look like and sound like? Who was he and what was his message? Was he gentle and passive, or assertive and fiery? Did he have a sense of humor? Was he God?

The image above is an illusion. An illusion is a cognitive distortion; a misinterpretation of information leading to a misleading or incorrect impression of the world. When you see Jesus' face in a piece of toast, that's a cognitive distortion. When you hate your neighbor and call yourself a Christian, that's a cognitive distortion as well.

Listen to this powerful conversation with Jesus, and hear the truth from the Truth about what most people get wrong about his life and his message. Topics discussed include:

  • Is it okay to use OMG?
  • The two most important commandments
  • What it really means to be born again
  • The true meaning of taking God’s name in vain
  • Original sin and the essence of evil
  • Images and archetypes
  • Did he even exist?
  • The power of myth
  • Seeing his face in a pancake

And remember, sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed. Is that you? Find out by listening to the interview, and then share and discuss what you’ve heard with your family and friends. It could change your life (and theirs).

Merry Cristmas!

P.S. Listen and learn why Cristmas is now spelled Christmas.
