I. Flocculant

According to the chemical composition, the flocculant can be divided into three categories: inorganic flocculant, organic flocculant and microbial flocculant. It can be used in primary sedimentation tank, secondary sedimentation tank, flotation cell and tertiary treatment or advanced treatment process.

II. Coagulant

In the process of coagulation treatment, sometimes a single flocculant can not achieve good coagulation effect, and it is often necessary to add some auxiliary agents to assist the flocculant to play a role and strengthen the coagulation effect. This auxiliary agent is called a coagulant. .

III.Conditioner

Used for conditioning the excess sludge before dewatering. Conditioning agents can be classified into inorganic conditioning agents and organic conditioning agents. Inorganic conditioning machines are generally suitable for vacuum filtration and plate and frame filtration of sludge, while organic conditioning agents are suitable for centrifugal dewatering and belt pressure dewatering of sludge.

IV. Demulsifier

It is a kind of surface active material, which can destroy the emulsified liquid structure to achieve the separation of the phases in the emulsion, and is mainly used for pretreatment of the oily sewage containing the emulsified oil before air flotation.

V. Defoamer

Commonly used defoamers can be classified into silicon (resin), surfactants, paraffins and mineral oils depending on the composition. It is mainly used to eliminate a large amount of foam that occurs during aeration and agitation.

VI. PH adjuster

It is used to adjust the pH of acid sewage or alkaline sewage. When the pH of the acid-containing sewage is raised, an alkali or a basic oxide is used as a neutralizing agent, and when the alkaline pH is lowered, an acid or an acidic oxide is used as a neutralizing agent.

VII. Disinfectant

It is used for disinfection treatment before discharge or reuse after sewage treatment.
