Do you know how to make a Purposeful Impact?
Emma Canter
Coaching and developing leaders to be people who they and others want to work with and for. By paying attention to your mind and focussing in on your values you will unlock your leadership potential.
If I said I had a way for you to increase your confidence, impact and performance in under 6 months would you want to know more?
For many people, the greatest career challenge they come across is their own internal dialogue. The things they tell themselves in their head create actual beliefs which they then become trapped by.
Think about it – have you ever worried about why you won’t be successful? Or even been afraid that someone is going to find out a reason why you can’t be successful?
You won’t be alone in this. Often called impostor syndrome, it’s a phenomenon that more than 70% of people experience at some time in their life, according to the International Journal of Behavioural Science.
However, there is a way out. After years of constantly questioning whether I was good enough to do my job, and observing others looking so confident and at ease, I decided this didn’t have to be the way, and so set about learning, researching and exploring what it took to feel confident and at ease within yourself. One of my greatest influences in this research has been Glennon Doyle, author of several books, including the truly Inspirational Untamed.
Her podcast, We Can Do Hard Things, addresses many topics related to the way we feel about ourselves.
Through my own experiences, I have discovered a way of developing myself and others that builds confidence and quietens the self-doubt, in a flexible one size does-not-fit-all approach. I’d love to share this with you if you’ve been moved by what you’ve read in this post. To find out more about Purposeful Impact, get in touch at [email protected]
