Do you know how the Ink delivery methods and Machine prinitng speed affect the ink transfer performance?
If three different ink delivery systems are tested separately, it can be found that when the printing speed is changed, the ink transfer volume of each ink delivery system is measured, and the relationship curve between printing speed and ink transfer volume can be obtained, as shown in Figure. From this, the following conclusions can be drawn:
Using the ink fountain roller-anilox roller type ink delivery system, when the printing speed is less than 200m/min, the printing speed has little effect on the ink transfer volume. When the printing speed increases from 200m/min to 400m/min, the printing speed increases by 1 times, and the ink transfer volume increases by about 3 times. This shows that the printing speed will have a great impact on the ink transfer volume, and its ink transfer performance is poor.
Using the forward doctor blade type ink delivery system, the increase in printing speed has a certain impact on the ink transfer volume, but the impact is not very significant, especially when the printing speed is less than 500m/min, its ink transfer performance is better.
With the reverse doctor blade type ink delivery system, no matter how the printing speed changes, the ink delivery volume remains basically stable, indicating that its ink transfer performance is the best. Therefore, the reverse scraper type ink delivery system should be used for dot printing.
