你有自己特定喜歡的濾鏡麼？對我來說，濾鏡是一種很神奇的發明，它給靜態的原始影像賦予了一種淡淡的情緒，照片彷彿沾惹上了人間煙火，有了故事性和藝術的潛在張力，讓你一下從戲外人搖身成為了戲內人。
Do you have your favorite Filter？For me，filters are such a miraculous invention which can endow specific emotions to a static images. Photos can covey artistically malleable stories that entices you into them.
喜歡MAYFAIR的人？會是一個怎樣的人呢？這次的《週六。菁英邂逅》系列，我想帶大家認識一位朋友，一位用MAYFAIR濾鏡來形容自己的攝影師LEO，和他那個充滿戲劇性的酒吧攝影棚。
What type of emotion does MAYFAIR invoke, you may ask? In today’s 《Saturday，Meeting Elite》I want to introduce a new friend to you. Leo, a photographer that presents himself as well as his bar-photo studio which is filled with personality by using MAYFAIR.
這是一個光與影，酒精與性的交錯空間，只有藝術什麼的，才能放肆地去揮灑，一切的打破常規，一切的不被接受，一切的天馬行空，在這裡定格在膠片上。這是一個含有酒吧的攝影棚，也是一個含有攝影棚的酒吧，形式算什麼，玩的開心才最重要。在這裡，派對才剛剛開始。
Here is a staggered space by Light and shadow, alcohol and sex.Things like art are the only things can be wanton swayed. In here, everything breaking the rules, anything not acceptable, every creative imaginations can be froze in the photos. This magical place is both a photo studio and a bar. No matter how it looks like, here is perfect environment to forget everything but having fun. It is the very beginning of the party right here.
Sie:你的場地都辦過哪些有趣的活動和故事？
Are there any interesting events and stories?
Leo:“亂七八糟”，”隨心所欲”是我們辦活動的態度。我們曾經和一個美國DJ有過跨界合作，舉辦了一個近150人的大派對，當時現場活動形式也十分多樣，有塗鴉比賽，現場T台秀，鬥舞大賽，不同DJ不同風格的電音輪番轟炸，現場調酒師創意調酒。。。現場來的每個人都很嗨，而就是在那次之後，我們攝影棚門口的整片區域全部被畫滿了塗鴉，也不失為一種驚喜。
“Be out of order”,”Do whatever you want”are our attitude to hold the events. We used to have a cross-border cooperation with an American DJ. It was a big party with almost 150 people and variety of activities such as Doodle competition,live fashion show, battle. Everyone immersed in the different styles of electronic music and enjoyed creative flair bar tending. Everyone was fully involved in the party and had fun. Since then, the entrance of the photo studio covered by the graffiti which has been a surprise for the customer.
Sie: 1623SPACE的名字由來？為什麼會想到將攝影棚與酒吧結合在一起？
Where does 1623SPACE get its name from? Why do we combine the photo studio with the bar together?
Leo:我們攝影棚座落在上海曹楊路1623號，所以剛開始，我們就叫1623 STUDIO。這個地方雖然有點偏僻，不那麼靠近市中心，
但是由廢棄的老廠房所自然營造出的工業風：輪胎，大鐵門的元素，這樣一個簡單粗暴的場地風格對不同的活動也就有了更大的接納性，所以平時閒暇之餘，各種朋友就會來我們這裡玩：畫畫的，塗鴉的，自行車死飛，電音，派對。。。活動越來越多，早已超出了作為攝影棚的功能，這裏更像是一個SPACE，而不只是一個STUDIO。 所以後來我們重新進行了粉飾佈置，全面升級為2.0版本，改名叫做1623 SPCAE了。
Our photo studio is located in No.1623, Caoyang Road in Shanghai, which was therefore was named as 1623 STUDIO. Though it’s a little remote and far away from the downtown, its natural industrial style from a deserted workshop, including elements of the tire and the huge iron gate, makes it more available for different activities with its simple and rough style. Therefore, many friends come here for such fun in their spare time as drawing, doodling, riding fixed gear bicycle, electronic music, party, etc..We have more and more activities, which have already been beyond the function of a photo studio. It’s more like a SPACE than a STUDIO, so later we upgraded it by redecorating and rearranging, and named it as 1623 SPCAE.
Leo：酒吧的結合也是因為我以前經常拍上海的夜生活，認識很多DJ朋友，他們都說這地方很適合做酒吧，偶爾也都會有朋友來喝喝酒，所以自然而然，這裡就變成半個一半酒吧一半影棚的狀態了，但我們不屬於營業性質的酒吧，算是營業性質的攝影棚裡的私人酒吧。
I used to take photos of Shanghai’s nightlife and have become familiar with many DJs, who all agreed that this place is very right for a bar. And now and then some friends come here for a drink. Therefore, it naturally becomes half a bar and half a photo studio. However, without the nature of business, this bar is a private one in a profitable photo studio.
Sie:未來你會想在你的攝影酒吧棚裡做些什麼有意思的實驗/project？
What projects are you going to do in 1623SPACE in the future?
Leo:我們應該會嘗試做更多好玩的東西。比如一些行為藝術性的拍攝項目。我們之前有想過拍一個叫”10shots after”的主題，因為我們的STUDIO一半是酒吧，一半是影棚，所以我們可以一邊營造出派對的場景，一邊營造出拍攝的狀態。我們將仔細觀察與捕捉每個參與實驗的人在喝完每杯shot後的細微表情及反應，直至第10杯，這個行為藝術項目是想體現出酒精對人精神狀態的潛移默化，抓拍出被攝影人在多少杯酒之後的神情狀態才是最佳，最放鬆的狀態應該又會是怎樣。
We are going to try more fun activities such as shooting projects on performance art. We ever had a thought of a theme named “10 shots after”. Since our STUDIO is half the bar and half the photo studio, we can create a scene half the party and half the filming. We will carefully observe everyone in the experiment and capture their subtle expressions and responses after drinking every shot (10 glasses in total). This performance art is aimed to show the unconscious influence of alcohol on people’s mental state, capture how many drinks can bring out their optimum mental state and their most relaxed state.
hat do you think of your own personality and filming style?
Leo:我叫李2，做人比較隨性，喜歡大笑和一切好玩的事情，做事不喜歡條條框框，比較隨性，一直不斷在探險這個未知的世界，攝影是我用來與世界溝通的媒介，咳咳。我的攝影風格還沒那麼鮮明的可以用一個詞來概括，所以只能從我之前的各種圖像中按圖索驥：我以前做過記者，所以我的風格比較隨意自然，喜歡偏紀實的感覺；同時也因為做過派對攝影，所以對光和色彩都很有極強的表現欲望。
My name is Li. I tend to go with the flow, like laughing and everything interesting. Disliking restrictions or fetters, I have always tried to explore the unknown world. I have tried to communicate with the world by photographing. There is no an appropriate word to describe my photography style, so I can just describe it from my former experience. I was ever a reporter, so I am casual and natural in style because I tend to record actual events. Meanwhile, I have also filmed parties, so I am eager to present the light and color.
Sie:酒精，攝影，藝術與性，這四樣東西你怎麼看？
What do you think of alcohol, photography, art and sex?
Leo:在一杯幹邑中窺見了聲色犬馬的自己沈迷墮落，那或是個影子，亦或是我內心急於將那些奇思異想釋放出來。我迷醉在酒精和性的氛圍中，妄圖將自己的攝影上升到藝術的高度。有時，太過清醒，會與藝術和創作無緣，我寧可自己有時是個瘋子，放縱與激情，有時能給予我源源不絕的靈感。我不刻板，我只願藝術至上，享受生活，想要在此生把這4樣東西都做到最好。
I see my degradation after a glass of cognac, which may be a shadow in my mind or those fantastical notions I want to release. I am fascinated by alcohol and sex and try to improve my photography to a new height in vain. Sometimes I cannot finish my creating arts when I am too clear, therefore I prefer to be mad and to indulge myself, which can sometimes offer me continuous inspirations. I am not stiff. And I put art above everything else and I want to enjoy life. I want to do the four things best in all my life.
Sie:攝影有時也像是藝術的再創造。攝影對於色彩，場景和拍攝人當時的狀態非常敏感，你認為最好的攝影條件/狀態是什麼？
Photography can be said as the recreation of the art in some sense. It is very sensitive to color, scene and the state of the photographers. What do you think is the best state for photographing?
Leo:攝影師與被攝影的人最好的狀態應該是全壘打。要先要有互相瞭解的慾望，幻想出最能展現她性感與魅力的那個場景與色彩的溫度，引導她，引誘她進入到設定的場景中，然後將她催眠，讓她忘記你的鏡頭，能舒服地在妳面前展現最放開的那一面。那就如同電影中的男女主角，在酒吧邂逅，乾柴烈火，目標一致，速速完成全壘打。這便是拍攝的最佳狀態：拍嗨了。
Home run is the best state for both photographers and their objects. The both sides should at first try to learn about each other. The photographer should visualize the scene color which can best show the object’s sexy glamour and charm, lead her to the setup scene, hypnotize her, and make her forget your camera so that she can show herself before you comfortably and naturally. It is just like the hero and heroin in a movie who come across each other in a bar and fall in love with each other at their first sight. And this is the best state for photographing: follow your own passion.
Sie:攝影是介於藝術與寫實的灰色地帶。你是如何來平衡的呢？
Photographing is a grey zone between art and realism. How do you make a balance between them?
Leo:攝影其實是一件很主觀的事，但它攝取的又是很現實的東西。它的魅力就在於，每次把握的平衡度都不一樣，每次都有驚喜。所以其實每個攝影師不同，每個人所能做到的平衡也不同，有時候真的刻意去平衡了，反而多了一份雕琢感與儀器感，顯得不那麼匠心了。
In fact, photographing is very subjective, but it deals with actual things. Its charm lies in that the balance for every photographing is different and can bring us surprises every time.Therefore, different balances are made by different photographers. Sometimes, some photographers try deliberately to make a balance between them, which gives people an unnatural and unoriginal feeling.
