Do you know about the 1% rule?

If you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty‐seven times better by the time you’re done. Conversely, if you get 1 percent worse each day for one year, you’ll decline nearly down to zero. 

That's the power of compounding!

Whether it's learning, saving money, eating right, working out, staying organized, relationships, any freaking thing in the world. The simple rule is you get what you repeat - compounded! Time multiplies your efforts, be it in the positive or negative direction. My motto has always been to improve, look forward, and get better. No matter how small success looks right now, it always pays in the long run.

Having said that, I lately realized that I have stopped loving myself, for some reason. And so today I pledge that I am going to work on loving myself and taking care of me 1% more everyday.

I don't know how, but I will figure out. So, even if I were at say just above zero, which I believe isn't true, I will land up with 37 times more love for myself by the end of the 1st year.

I know most of the posts here on Linkedin talk about success. But I want you all to pause and measure your self love.

In the process of achieving, becoming rich, famous, successful we all focus so much on our external image that we tend to forget our own selves. Unless we embrace ourselves, pamper ourselves, take care of our mind, body, heart, we cannot do justice to others in our relationships or at work.
