Do you identify as visibly different?

Do you identify as visibly different?

Are you a 1 in 5 who identifies themselves as being visibly different by for example wearing uniqueness such as a birthmark, scar, blisters, have conditions such as rosacea, psoriasis, vitiligo, easily blush, or perhaps have missing or additional features which make you look atypical, etc on your body? If not, perhaps given how common we are, you know someone who does?

It's not typically straightforward wearing visible differences that we never desired or sought to have and living with them in a society that values or expects typical appearance and features, can so often result in stares, comments, questions, and nastiness including hate crimes including bullying.

Having developed countless strategies for coping with being visibly different both personally and professionally, I know that shifting our perceptions and responses to adversity and change by learning and developing strategies of resilience is what produces sustainable results and enables us to live a more fulfilling quality of life.

If you would like to know more hop onboard my website where you can find a host of blogs, a membership group containing courses, resources, interviews, and all manner of resilience-building content, and a 12 session coaching program with a private community group, for all the support to grow and build your resilience for sustainable results.
