Do you have your spending under control?

I always loved investing. But up until a few years ago, I wasn't investing consistently.

I knew I should make it a priority to invest every month. But I kept pushing it to 'later.'

And the main reason was that I didn't have my?spendings?under control.?

Even if I've never been a big spender.

But somehow, keeping up with exorbitant childcare costs, cleaning costs, rent, restaurants, holidays, etc. meant that my income would just somehow vanish by the end of the month.?

All of this didn't feel quite right.

I was earning a decent income and married to someone with an even better one.

How could it be that I still had close to nothing left at the end of the month??

And so that's why the quote below by Robert?Kyosaki?makes so much sense to me now:

And so now I?go about it very differently.

As soon as my income hits my bank account, I make automatic payments into my investment accounts.?

And then I just make my life work with whatever is left.

This simple trick has made my life so much easier!

• Much easier to plan?
• Much easier to spend?
• Much easier to invest?

Because I no longer need to try to 'save' money to be able to invest.?
