Today is National Vision Board day and I, like many across the world, have participated in a vision board part, either in person or virtually.
And as we seal those vision boards with all the energy of love and light and lace them with as much Law of Attraction vibe as we can conjure it's important to place them in the context of your vision for the world.
Certainly it doesn't give any one the "feels" to have all the love and money that you want yet ensconced in a world of chaos...because where is the joy in that?
The same holds true for your personal brand. One of the key anchor points to developing a personal brand that it is grounded in authenticity and is framed in the context of the world. It should have emotional depth and connecting points for humanity.
And while that might sound like a big ask...the ask is still required. What do you want to see happen for the world? Like I said, it's a big ask. But when you take the time to reflect on that and create a vision that elevates your desires to outer bands of the universe, magic happens.
Example: If you are a realtor and you are sitting in a vision board party right now...you might be thinking of clipping images of beautiful homes, cars, vacations, travel and the like. Which is all good...I have several of those on mine:-) But when you consider the vision in the context of the world we must ask the question: "to what end"?
Why do you want to be a successful realtor? Why is it important for you to achieve these things on your board? If you anchor your response in something along the lines of "My vision for the world is a world where everyone has the expert and caring guidance to help them experience the joy of homeownership. To revel in the knowing that they are king and queen in their own castle and to enjoy a true sense of feeling grounded and connected...anchored in a sense of community and belonging.
I'm sure you can feel that the energy around that vision board with that world view would be vastly different than a vision board that is solely focused on chasing the elusive 6% commission.
So, on this national vision board day, take some time to ladder up, take some time to look up and reach higher for guidance on your path and space in the world. We all want to be, do and have all sorts of things. The key is to express those desire with the "so that...!
I want to be an amazingly successful realtor "so that" the world we live in vibrates on a higher frequency. Now that's laddering up! Can you get there with your vision for the world?
I am sure you can, of that I have no doubt. We all have greatness in us. We just need to hold space for our greatness to be made manifest.
Cheers, vision on and stay savvy!
