At a recent networking event, I met a former participant from one of my financial planning webinars who excitedly told me he had become the Marketing Director for the Asia Pacific region . Our conversation highlighted the importance of adopting a "Rich Mindset" as we progress in our careers.

He mentioned that his company had arranged a driver for him, which he initially declined, he thought his company would praise him for saving money ??.

However, the response was quite the opposite. The company explained, "We pay you a high salary because your time is extremely valuable to the company. If you waste your time on unnecessary things, that's the real waste of money!" ????

This reminded me of times when I, and perhaps you too, couldn't immediately reply to urgent client messages because we were driving, or were delayed by the hunt for a parking spot even though we were on time ?.

As we rise in our careers, our time becomes more valuable—much like money.

With greater responsibilities, we need to rethink how we manage our time ??.
