It is important to have a good deal of motivation in your life. You want to ensure that you have motivation to help you reach your goals, to give your life more purpose, and to make sure that you are living the fulfilling life that you need.
But there could be times when it is hard to find the motivation that you need, and you will not be able to reach some of your biggest goals.?
Some of the biggest signs that you are struggling with motivation in your life include:
?Your Default Mood is Apathy
Motivated people often have something they are working toward all the time. This can sound stressful and a bit exhausting, but that usually isn’t the case.
When you have something to strive for, with lots of breaks added in, you will find that you feel more fulfilled and happier with life. When you lack motivation, it is hard to find things to get excited about.
Learning how to find something that gets the blood pumping and helps you feel better is much better.
?You Quit Most Things
Look back at some of the tasks that you typically try to take on. Did you often run into many paths that led to dead ends? Were there a lot of things that you started out trying and found out were just not for you?
When you realize that you are someone who quits things often, you may start to realize that you are the common denominator there and are the one limiting your goals in the future.
This could also be a confidence problem that you need to work on.
?You Feel Depressed
Motivation is going to be the desire to get things done. Your beliefs and mood will often have a big impact on how much motivation you feel.
If you believe from the start that you will fail, it can be impossible to get yourself started in the first place.
You may need to work on your positivity, self-esteem, and happiness in order to work through the depressed and negative feelings so that you can be more motivated along the way.
?You are Easily Distracted
Does it feel like everything can steal your attention and it is hard to stay focused on anything?

If you are ready with the best intentions in order to work on a project or get something done, but then you quit after a week, then this could be your problem.
You need to take the time to figure out what is distracting you and then work on simple steps that will help you kick those to the curb.
?Your Expectations are High
?It is a good idea to reach for the stars and challenge yourself. But you also need to have some realistic expectations of what you can do. For example, if you have a goal to lose weight, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to start with 10 pounds a week.
This is just not realistic. You should aim for something like one to two pounds a week to help you work hard, without setting yourself up for failure from the beginning.
?You Do Less Than You are Capable Of
When you have a problem with motivation, you may decide that you can only take on so much work at a time.
This can be bad for you.
It may lead you to not taking on as much work, not challenging yourself, and not reaching for the stars.
When you work on increasing your motivation, you will work harder than before and see much better results as well.
?Be the leader people want to follow.
