Do You have a great idea. BUT You've done nothing about it (so far).

Do you have an idea / Project that you've been sitting on cause you are not motivated enough to do something about it?
I have noticed that Prototyping hackathons are a great way to get started - it is set within a limited time period (usually a weekend) and everyone around you building something that it carries you to also get started on your thing and keep with the momentum.
The only caveat: a weekend might be too short for some of the things to flesh out. so thinking about creating a Builders Club where over 2-3 months teams come together, share their ideas and build.
This is roughly how it goes:
Teams are curated.
On week #1 all the teams pitch / present their ideas.
Between Week #2 - Week #11 teams do short and sweet stand up meetings and share updates (and also challenges they are facing) to get feedback and support from peers.
On Week #12, all the teams that have gotten to the finish line, do a demo.
Is this something that would interest you? If so, fill out this form.
Building prototypes is really easy. I usually build them myself using flutter or react native in the case of mobile apps, for example. But, I am not sure they (always) advance your cause significantly or commensurately. Who are the targets of the prototype? Investors, end users? Are there better ways to explain the benefits that will accrue from your solution? Could that effort be used elsewhere, like honing the pitch, roping in early adopters, refining the revenue model, building the team , finding partners, and the 100s of other things that you need to do to get a start up going? I am not sure I have a definitive answer, but would love to hear your thoughts.
