Do You Have a Governor? // Romans 8:6

Do you have a governor? I’m thinking about two different ways to define that word: (1) an authority figure responsible for order; (2) an internal mechanism that regulates speed and power. God wants to be both in your life! God sends us the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. That Holy Spirit then works within us to power — and empower — us to work for the Lord according to God’s word, will, and way. Will you let the Lord be your authority for living? If so, will you allow the Holy Spirit to move you when, where, and how God chooses? You have a holy governor, so let God do the work God longs to do in, for, and through you!
