Do you have a clear framework, process, model or method?

Do you have a clear framework, process, model or method?

Last week I talked about how to package your expertise with Aditi Jajal-Newey on an Instagram Live. And in that talk, I outlined a way to get clarity here, by defining the problems, process, and package. Let me explain...

THE PROBLEMS, the collection

First, get clear on all the problems you solve (and the goals you achieve) with your package or program. Define the main problems and the sub-problems. Write it down on paper or use some post-its. This is your own curated collection of problems or topics you address with your clients.

THE PROCESS, the bridge

Second, what is your approach to solving these problems? What's in your toolkit? Define your process, method or framework to take your client from their current situation (point A) to their desired situation (point B). Your process is the bridge. Your process facilitates the transformation.?

THE PACKAGE, the details

Finally, get clear on the practical container or format you use to take clients through the process to solve the problems. So, alllll the details of what your package includes.?

  • The number of sessions or meetings
  • The tangible materials you provide as part of the offer
  • The timeline
  • Any bonuses that are included
  • Is there a private community, such as a Facebook group?
  • The price
  • etc.

TEST, RESEARCH, AND REFINE

Clarity on your unique process takes time and testing. If you're a beginner in business, you will learn so much with each and every client you serve! Pay close attention to what works. Ask for feedback. And don't forget to do some market research too, which can help illuminate the problems and goals your audience wants to address.

For several years now, I've been testing different ways and methods to solve my clients' problems. And for the beginner in business, who is serious about building a solid foundation for success, I offer the following:

You can find more details on my website, but these are the 6 areas I focus on, to help beginners in business get clear and get clients. It's a holistic and human approach to business, brand and marketing strategy.?

You may not be able to describe your process right away – and that's OK – but it's something you should work towards.?

Primarily – so you can get amazing results for your clients. And secondarily – so you can communicate how you achieve those results in a simple and compelling way.

So tell me, how clear are you on your process? What questions do you have when it comes to packaging? Let's chat about it in the comments.
