Do YOU have '20/20 Vision'?

"All of us know more than one of us"...
As we are embarking on the global '20/20 Vision' Program, this truism is very much at the heart of what we're trying to do:
How can we (unite to) address super-wicked problems?
So..., what then, are these 'super- wicked problems'?
According to Levin, Cashore, & Auld, 2012; see also Lazarus, 2009, super-wicked problems have four characteristics:
- Time is running out;
- There is no central authority, or only a weak central authority, to manage the problem;
- The same actors causing the problem seem to solve it; and,
- Policy responses discount the future irrationally (= 'cognitive dissonance', desinformation - or outright 'denial').
Examples that come to mind include 'Climate crisis', 'Corona crisis' and... perhaps...., 'Leadership'?...
Super-wicked problems can only be solved by mobilizing - and using! - the collective wisdom of crowds.
- It's why we're attracting Fellows.
- It's why we're using storytelling, the Nine Universal Roadblocks (NUR) Model and the Focused Feedback Method.
- It's why we're building a global network organization.
- It's why we're using an all-inclusive transdisciplinary and transgenerational approach.
So, when you are proactive, forward-looking, not shy, have an international orientation, an eye on practice and are (still) blessed with common sense and a sense of humor, the 20/20 Vision program might be something for you!!
Join in. To use the collective wisdom of crowds. Only together can we address and overcome (super) wicked problems....
