Do You Ever Wonder Where They Are?
"Those we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are." - St. Francis of Assisi
Do you ever wonder where your loved ones who have passed away really are? I have. It was one of the first questions I asked after my son passed.
Now, however, I truly believe they're still with us, only in a different form; behind the thin veil as Emily Dickinson described. The ones who left us may no longer be in the physical framework of our relationships, but their love and memories remain etched in our hearts.?Oh, yes, we'll always miss that relationship, but as we grieve their loss, may we find comfort in the understanding that they would want us to embrace our life with courage and hope. Let their absence serve as a reminder to cherish the moments we have, and to honor their memory by living our lives to the fullest.?Despite the pain of missing them, we must hold onto our hope, knowing that one day we'll be reunited in a place where there's no more sorrow.
There’s a saying that goes, "Whisper their name and they are with you. Speak their name and they are listening. Think of them and they are watching over you." This saying emphasizes the idea that our loved ones are always with us in spirit, even if their physical form is no longer present.
Love transcends the boundaries of life and death, and those we've lost will forever remain a part of our journey.
