Do you ever get decision fatigue?
I can easily get it in supermarkets, that's why I try and plan my shops with checklists on my phone every time I go in.
There's so much to catch your attention, people going about their daily routines, new products with cool or not-so-cool branding, the latest promos, and last but not least, plan specific meals to batch cook once or twice a week as having a vegan household means we try to be aware of the nutritional value of the food items we get.
As Andy Warhol said, "When you think about it, department stores are kind of like museums."
(Being a new mum & running a business at the same time suddenly gets you to organise your life in a whole new way.)
As Andy Warhol said, "When you think about it, department stores are kind of like museums."
Every day we have to make decisions both big and small to navigate our life and business.
With so much noise out there like what to watch on Netflix, what to wear, or who to follow on social media we can find ourselves in decision fatigue before even figuring out our goals for the day.
When planning your year, month, week and day, it is important to set your intentions to ensure when you lay your head on the pillow at night you're one step closer to accomplishing your dreams.

So I started planning out my weeks and days by asking myself the following questions:
(Before you start, I recommend you do some grounding exercises, sit by yourself in silence for 5-10mins to see what comes up, be gentle if you struggle with any of the questions, and let yourself get in flow while you journal or type these answers down.)
?? What am I giving my attention to? (i.e, am I mindlessly scrolling through IG or binging Netflix more hours than I’d like to admit?)
*pro tip: You could even twist this question and ask yourself: What am I not giving my attention to? i.e. my partner/baby/family, my pet, my needs & desires, my hobbies (when was the last time I did something exciting, fun, new for the first time?)
?? What are my top goals?
?? How much time do I need to get this done?
?? What does the end result look like?
?? Does this goal align with my overall plan?
With all the noise on the internet, without answering the questions above, you might often find yourself excited about an idea and then suddenly spending an entire day creating a lead magnet that you would never end up launching and definitely didn't help you get closer to your goals!
This exercise will allow you to increase your self-awareness, get you to manage your time like a pro and provide the clarity you need to better understand how to reach your goals in life or business. ????
I'd love to know if you've found it useful ??
