Do You Embrace Curiosity?
Suchitra Reddy
Empowering professional women entrepreneurs who, despite their outward success, feel stuck, overwhelmed, and isolated to unlock their potential and overcome isolation and self-doubt, leading to a lifetime of happiness.
In the chaos of adult life and our responsibilities, it's easy to lose touch with the sense of wonder and curiosity we had as children.
But recently, I found myself revisiting those feelings, and it led to a breakthrough in my LinkedIn journey.
Over the past decade, I've been on LinkedIn, but it's only in the last two months that I've truly found my stride.
Engaging with the platform, sharing stories, and writing newsletters has become something I look forward to every day!
But as I faced an upcoming period of travel, I was met with a new challenge: How could I keep up with my weekly newsletters while on the road?
The solution didn't come to me immediately.
At first, I considered trying to write and publish them on the fly during my travels.
But realistically, I knew my energy levels would be depleted by the end of each day.
Then, a serendipitous conversation with a connection sparked an idea.
They referred to me as their "LinkedIn penpal," triggering memories of my childhood curiosity and fascination with pen pals and letters from faraway places.
It made me realize how as adults, we often lose touch with that sense of wonder and curiosity.
?But why should we?
I decided to approach my problem with the same open-mindedness and excitement I felt as a child awaiting a letter.
Exploring LinkedIn's features, I stumbled upon the ability to schedule posts for later publication.
It was a game-changer.
With a few tries, I mastered the tool and could now continue publishing my newsletters even while traveling.
The experience reminded me of the power of curiosity and the importance of embracing new possibilities with an open mind.
So, I challenge you: What obstacles are you facing that leave you feeling stuck?
Can you approach them with the same curiosity and excitement you had as a child?
Can you generate new ideas and solutions?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
Remember, curiosity knows no bounds, and there's always a solution waiting to be discovered if we approach challenges with an open mind.
Let's keep exploring together!
Are you open-minded to a short conversation with me?
