Do you bend or break?

I bloody love boundaries.
They are really the difference between living in authentic alignment and not.
But there’s another thing we need to keep in mind alongside impenetrable boundaries and that’s?flexibility.
Having flexibility is not about touching your nose with your toes but if you can – power to you, toots.
Flexibility is being able to roll with it when everything changes.
Because shit is constantly changing. It's called LIFE.
The Law of Requisite Variety states the person or system with the most flexibility has the most strength in any situation.
WTF does this even mean? Good question.
Imagine a yacht.
A yacht has a mast (the vertical big stick in the middles that the sail goes on.)
Although the mast is solid and firm, it's?imperative?it has?just the right amount of give and flexibility or in a wild wind it will snap.
Too much give and it may as well be cooked spaghetti and it won't hold the sail up to catch the wind.
You are like the mast.
Not enough flexibility and you will snap when there is unpredictability, or change.
Too much and you will have floopy boundaries and you will walk all over yourself (or others will.)
I’ve been working with a client who is decidedly rigid.
When things aren’t exactly to their expectation then all cool is lost. Rage or depression ensues and it’s all a bit of a shit show.
We’ve been looking at how to identify when it’s time to maintain your stance and when it's time to pivot or shimmy.
It's powerful stuff.
Where are you at with this?
Do you bend or do you break?
Do you uphold glorious boundaries or are they sloppy like spaghetti?
Finding the perfect balance is not always easy, but it's always worth it.
If this is something you want but you're unsure how to get it,
Let's have a conversation about how my programs can help you to step into the next best version?of you.
