In this century of technology, transformations are evident in every aspect of industry like AI, Big Data, Block-chain invading the legacy work-space involving process, people and systems. There has been a constant change and innovations disrupting the way you need to perform. Manager role is also becoming more demanding to perform and are you ready and doing it right?
I take this forum to talk about my experience related to focus areas which are key and which have been there for ages in industries. For me the critical skills revolve around Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical thinking these are nothing but the most listed 4C's in management literature. This 4C's can not be effective if you dont have the 3P's around you. Now what are the 3P's? it is Plan, Prepare and Present. These 4C's clubbed with 3P's is a good proven technique one can be obsessed with if he is a Manager by role play. What next.. Why wait .....go back to your scribbling board, put down your focus areas to prove yourself. I am not stopping here as at the end of the day any of the Managers on this earth needs to be evaluated - a big challenge, isn't it???. give a thought for that and do not forget that any Manager should be good to Manage himself, Manage his team and surrounding, Manage his job description and Manage his effectiveness to stand out!
Looks a mile more required than the regular 100m sprint to be a Manager. Good luck who are in practice and dream to be a Manager. Cheers.

Nice Buddy...Please review the requirement of 5th "C", Called Common sense, which most of the Managers Don't have...Also, with a 4th "P", called Perfection, need to be with a Manager........Yes, Managers are sprinters, request to close like the same as 100 mts, you are right!. Personally, Raj's team should be blessed to have such a kindhearted personality.
